FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What size are the sweaters?

Most of my sweaters are made using standard sizing from the Craft Yarn Council. You can check out their size charts right here! Each piece is made with comfort and coziness in mind, and  comes with its own measurements listed in the description. The easiest way to check fit is to measure a fave piece from your closet and compare. I don’t stick to a standard size chart since each sweater is freehanded and totally one-of-a-kind.

2. What kind of yarn do you use?

Great question! I work with a variety of yarns — sometimes soft acrylics, sometimes cotton blends, sometimes plushy textures. The exact yarn used will always be listed in the product description, but if you have something specific in mind (hypoallergenic, natural fibers, etc.), just send me a message. I have lots of options in the studio and love chatting yarn.

3. How do I take care of my new cozy item?

Care instructions will be included with every order so you know exactly how to treat your new handmade piece with love. If you ever lose your tag or have questions down the road, don’t hesitate to reach out.

4. Why is shipping so pricey?

Ah, the joys of Canadian shipping. 📦 Shipping within Canada is expensive, especially for bulky items like sweaters. I’ve done a lot of digging, and as of July 2025, Canpar offers the best rates for me. I charge a flat rate to simplify things, and if I’m ever able to offer better rates, I absolutely will. Thanks for understanding and supporting small biz!

If you would like something shipped internationally, please email me a list of items so I can get a custom quote for you.

5. Do you take custom orders?

YES! Custom requests are one of my favourite things. I love collaborating to create something that feels uniquely you. Whether it’s a specific color combo, yarn texture, or sweater length — I’m here for it. Let’s make something magical together.
